Dear Supporters,
We want to keep you informed about the latest developments within our squad. As many of you know, Fareed Salifou, Gerard Benfield, and Jake Scrimshaw have left the club. Additionally, the loan trio of Billy Terrell, Jaiden Bartolo, and Christie Ward have returned to their parent clubs.
We are pleased to announce that Will Buse has extended his loan from Yeovil until the end of the season. Lloyd Thomas has also joined as backup to Will and played against Sturminster Newton in the Dorset Senior Cup.
Ibraham Meite, who made his debut on Saturday, has joined us on non-contract terms, having previously worked under Warren at other clubs. We understand that some supporters may have concerns about his past. We want to assure you that we have conducted thorough due diligence and are working closely with Ibraham and his support team as he rebuilds his life. We urge you to judge him based on his performance on the pitch.
Our injured players are making steady progress. We hope to have Tom Bearwish and Andreas Robinson back soon, and Josh McQuoid is responding well to treatment. Charlie Rowan was assessed last night at training and will be monitored.
We remain fully committed to staying in the National League South and are working closely with Warren with additional funds to strengthen our squad. Despite our current standings, we are determined to turn things around. Last Saturday’s fighting performance is a testament to the team’s resilience and determination. Warren is working hard to add players who will make a difference, and we expect to provide a further update on the squad by early next week.
While there is no getting away from the fact that we are facing a big task to remain in the National League, rest assured, everyone at the club is still united in our quest for survival.
While our position is challenging, on a positive note, it was great to see so many of our U23s put in a good performance in the Dorset Senior Cup, and we now have a final to look forward to.
Our spirit remains unbroken, and we will continue to fight for every point. We hope you are there to fight with us.
