BOSS Jason Matthews has not ruled out bringing in another goalkeeper ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Stratford Town (3pm).
The Terras’ chief, who is set to be out for two more weeks with a heel problem, saw loan signing Jordan Holmes return to Bournemouth earlier this week.
Teenager Holmes, back with the Premier League side because of injuries to Adam Federici and Artur Boruc, could well sit on the bench for the Cherries against Chelsea.
Matthews has told Echosport that Steve Boore has a good chance of featuring at the DCS Stadium tomorrow but he may still look for cover between the sticks.
“Steve did well against Verwood on Wednesday night but he doesn’t have a lot of experience,” he said.
“Steve is very close to playing, and if he did I’d have no doubts he would do his best, but I will look into the possibility of bringing someone in before the game.”
Ashley Wells is suspended for Weymouth’s Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division clash with 12th-placed Stratford.
Matthews, whose side sit sixth, added: “Stratford have won their last three league games and scored four goals in each of them, so they will be tough.
“We need to find our scoring touch because we’re creating chances but not taking them.
“I’ve got faith in the lads and we will go there and do a professional job.”
