JASON Matthews admits it’s “now or never” for his Weymouth side as they look to push on for a play-off place this season.
The Terras, currently five points off the pace of fifth-placed King’s Lynn Town, are set to make the trip to Biggleswade Town tomorrow (3pm).
And with his troops looking to respond from three league losses on the spin, the Terras’ chief is fully aware of the importance of their clash against the Waders.
He told Echosport: “We need to get our season back on track now. We have had a few postponements and it’s now or never really.
“Now is the time that we need to start putting points on the board.
“The results are still hit and miss in the league so nobody has got away from us too far other than Poole.”
Speaking about Biggleswade, who would leapfrog Weymouth in the Evo-Stik Southern Premeir Division with a win on Saturday, Matthews added: “I had them watched last week. I know they will be a tough team, are a big side and are well-drilled.
“It’s one of those games where, if you have any ambition, you have to get something out of it.
“We need to go there, concentrate on ourselves, and a win puts us right back in the mix.
“It’s time to kick on now.”
