JASON Matthews labelled his side’s 2-0 defeat at Frome Town last night as “incredibly frustrating”.
The Terras’ boss, who saw Chris Shephard sent off during the first half of the league defeat, also revealed that he felt some key decisions from the match officials “probably cost us the game”.
Giving his views to Echosport after the contest, Matthews said: “I am disappointed with the result but very pleased with the performance.
“I felt we were very good and inept officials probably cost us the game.
“I felt they were very inexperienced to handle a game like that.
“Sometimes, when you get your officials, it is going to go against you and last night I felt it went against us.
“It’s incredibly frustrating, I feel we should probably have nine points out of 12 now and we are sat on six.”
As well as Shephard’s red card, Weymouth also saw a goal from Mark Cooper disallowed for offside against the Robins, whose strikes from Jon Davies and Jake Jackson gave them all three points.
Asked about his side’s disallowed goal, Matthews replied: “Coops has ran in from behind his man but Ben Thomson has been flagged offside.
“You just spin your head around and you don’t know what to do to be fair.
“I can’t really ask much more of the lads. There were a couple of silly challenges from Sheps but he knows that, he doesn’t need me to tell him.”
