Assistant Manager Paul Maitland gives Josh Barton of theterras.com an update ahead of our trip to Frome Town.
Josh Barton: After the result on Saturday how important is the response against Frome Town?
Paul Maitland: We expect a better level of performance from what we gave on Saturday. We know that. It was a typical first game of the season in a sense but we do expect it to be better all round at Frome in what will be a tough game.
JB: What are you expecting from our opponents, Frome Town?
PM: They started with a win at Basingstoke and have had a small amount of changes in the summer and they seem to have recruited well. You would imagine that they will be looking to improve on last season and you’d think that they will want to finish in and around play offs. They have a good vocal backing and it is one of the toughest places to go in this league.
JB: Any early team news?
PM: We will be looking for the players that played on Saturday to put in a much better performance and we are still looking at the make-up of the squad in relation to this coming game and the games we have coming up. There are no fresh injury concerns.
