MARK Molesley says his side have got nothing to fear heading into Weymouth’s FA Trophy third qualifying round replay with St Albans City this evening (7.45pm).
The Terras earned the replay against their National League South opposition after a 1-1 draw at the Bob Lucas Stadium, in a match which both teams probably should, and could, have won.
Molesley said: “We have got nothing to fear but then also we have got to know that it is on their own patch and they have showed what a threat they are here as well.”
The fixture will mark Weymouth’s sixth match in 16 days, but the Terras would still have been in action regardless, with a home match against Gosport Borough postponed as a result of the draw.
When asked about the mounting fixtures, Molesley said: “There has been a lot of football played lately for us, and there is a lot to come over the Christmas period.
“We were going to be playing tonight anyway against Gosport.
“We have not got a game on Saturday so we will get through tonight and then we have got a chance to rest a few bodies at the weekend and then plan our assault for the Christmas run-in.”
Calvin Brooks, who was unavailable for the Saturday clash, and Jordan Seabright, following his facial injury a week ago, could be fit for selection as well.
Ashley Wells in which he was named on the bench on Saturday, but Molesley said the replay probably comes a bit too soon.
