At a recent board meeting, the Directors of Weymouth Football Club chose this season’s local worthy cause, The Veterans Hub Weymouth & Portland CIC.
Based on Portland Road, Wyke Regis, they offer vital support to Armed Forces veterans of all eras. Their community cafe is a focal point which is open to all where you can see the story of the veterans who live within our community. The Football Club will be organising bucket collections during the season as well as having collection pots in the main bars and club shop.
Please look out for these and help us support this wonderful venture. We look forward to welcoming members as our guests to a game later in the season.
