Billy Neale: Afternoon Mark, first of all, how is the mood in the camp for this big FA Cup 4th qualifying round match against Dover?
MM: Afternoon. The mood in the camp is a confident one, we’re all looking forward to the game tomorrow. We know it’ll be a tough challenge but one the players will relish and look to put their stamp on the game.
BN: Leading on from that, how has training been this week after the Dulwich Hamlet game in preparation for this?
MM: Yeah it’s been good, the boys have looked sharp, we’ve worked on areas that we wanted to after the game last week and that will hopefully stand us in good stead come Saturday.
BN: Playing against a higher level opposition does it matter more to be at home or does it not really matter?
MM: I don’t think it matters too much. Look, we like playing at home on a surface which we know, we don’t have to travel far and playing in front of our own supporters does offer that advantage. We are unbeaten in eight and even if we were away I’d fancy us to turn up and do our jobs just like tomorrow, where we have to be at our very best to get something out the game
BN: Finally, how important is it for the fans to get the Bob Lucas Stadium buzzing and create that atmosphere we all know that can make it very uncomfortable for opposing teams?
MM: It’s always good to have a loud atmosphere at home. The fans have been brilliant and it’s important that they come out in their numbers again and push us over the line. Hopefully playing a good team like Dover will get a few more through the gate and create a loud atmosphere that we all love.
