Weymouth will take on Barnet at The Hive Stadium in the first round of the Buildbase FA Trophy.

Mark Molesley’s team will face the Bees after beating Hastings United 1-0 at the Bob Lucas Stadium in the third qualifying round last weekend. The tie will be played on the week commencing 14th December.

National League team Barnet, who are managed by Darren Currie, reached the first round of the FA Cup this season where they were knocked out by Fleetwood Town and currently sit 16th in the table.

The Terras’ previous match against the Bees was a pre-season friendly in 2003 which ended up as a 1-1 draw, Steve Tully scoring for Weymouth.

The last competitive meeting between the two sides was also in the FA Trophy first round, during the 1989/90 season. Goals from Doherty and Pugh saw Weymouth through to the second round in a 2-0 victory in front of 1,235 at the Wessex Stadium.

Ticket details will be announced soon.
