Travel Club Injection from the Terras Supporters Club
Some brilliant news for our travelling supporters with a £1,500 donation from the Terras Supporters Club to the WFC Travel Club.
As many will be aware our away supporters who travel via the WFC Travel Club Coach(s) used to share one coach with the players. Covid19 changed many things but in the case it was our promotion to the National League that meant a rethink for Pete Pavey and the WFC Travel Club committee.
There are various initiatives and fundraising activities such as the BINGO and the Meat Draw to help keep the Travel Club costs reasonable for our Supporters.
At the last Terras Supporters Club Meeting we were joined by Pete Pavey and as a result we agreed to inject £1,500 into the WFC Travel Club.
The first £500 of this will be in sponsorship of the Away Coach(s) to Solihull Moors away game and this has meant Pete Pavey has been able to offer the tickets for the coach at a great price for our Supporters!
In addition, every home/away shirt sold this season will result in £5 going to the WFC Travel Club.
Terras Supporters Club Chairman said, “We are there to help our Supporters to help our team, and the Terras Supporters Club Board overwhelmingly supported these two initiatives.”
Pete Pavey said, ”The £1,500 is a game changer for the WFC Travel Club in helping our Supporters get to Away games due to not being able to have Bingo or a Meat Draw last season.”
Don’t forget the BINGO is coming home on FRIDAY 3rd SEPTEMBER 2021 at THE BOB LUCAS STADIUM Eyes Down 7.30pm Proceeds going towards the AWAY TRAVEL CLUB.
