Weymouth U23s recorded a strong victory over Dorchester Town U23s on Wednesday evening at the Bob Lucas Stadium with a 4-1 win.
The first half saw Weymouth score all of their four goals of the evening. Two goals for both Bradley Ash and Tom Bearwish gave Weymouth a strong lead heading into half time.
In the second half, Weymouth were forced to play with ten men, fifteen minutes from time, with Dorchester Town grabbing their goal through an own goal.
Brian Stock: “The lads were absolutely brilliant tonight. All the young lads but also our goalscorers Bradley Ash and Tom Bearwish played extremely well. Tom Solanke, who is on trial with us, also worked his socks off. It was a really positive evening, our organisation and performance was excellent, with some fantastic individual performances and goals to cap off our dominant performance in a game we deserved to win.
The U23s are next in action in the league on Wednesday 15th December as they take on Christchurch U23s away in a 19:45 kick off.
