Weymouth Football Club are delighted to welcome Cypriot defender Harry Kyprianou on a one-year deal, subject to FA and league approval!

25 year-old Kyprianou, who can play full back, on the wing, or centre back, arrives from Oxford City, where he made 21 appearances in the National League South last season. Kyprianou began his career in the youth setups of Watford and Southend United. Harry has also spent loan spells at Lowestoft in 2016, and more recently Bromley in the 2020-21 season. He was released by Southend in the summer of 2021, which saw him sign for the Hoops for the 2021-22 season.

Kyprianou also made a handful of appearances for Cyprus U21’s, making his debut against Hungary U21 in a Euro U21 qualifier in 2018.

David Oldfield: “Harry is another player we are delighted to welcome to the club. One who both Tom Donati and I have known from the past and we look forward to meeting up again. Harry can help balance the squad and will be an important member both on and off the pitch. Welcome to Weymouth, Harry!”

Everybody at Weymouth Football Club would like to welcome Harry to the club and wish him every success next season!
