It is with a heavy heart that Weymouth Football Club announce the resignation of Club Director John Waldock.

The Board of Directors would like to express great appreciation and gratitude for John’s hard work in supporting the Club for over a decade on the field and most recently the support during the pandemic, in parallel helping navigate the club through the many challenges of the National League.

John Waldock: “It’s with great sadness that I step down from my position as a Director at Weymouth Football Club. The club will always hold a special place in my heart and I wish the Board and the manager all the very best of luck this season.

Unfortunately, with work commitments and an up-and-coming operation, I feel my energy needs to be with myself & my family.

Also additionally factors out of the football club’s control and influence have brought me to this difficult decision. COYT”
