Following a long positive discussion with Craig Adams he has decided to step down from his position as under-23’s Manager to pursue a more senior role in football.
Craig led the under-23’s to a hugely successful season narrowly missing out on a league and cup double. However, the bigger success is that members of the squad have been invited for pre-season with the first team and some of the squad involved in matchday squads last season. The Board of Directors would like to thank Craig for his hard work and wish him every success in the future.
Going forward a new structure is going to be implemented to enable growth and a closer connection with first team and to build a more robust and sustainable pathway.
Further announcements surrounding the make-up of the under-23s management structure will be made later this week once all parties are ready.
