Weymouth Football Club is delighted to announce that both Lee Spalding and Charlie Griffin have agreed to stay at the club and work with new manager Jamie Wells for the foreseeable future!
Lee will continue as Assistant Manager, and Charlie will continue as First Team Coach.
It was vital that a degree of continuity was retained during this time of change.
Lee had this to say following this weekend’s ridgeway derby victory:
“I’m looking forward to working alongside Jamie Wells. He has been very clear, telling me exactly what he wants from me regarding the role as his assistant.
Saturday’s game away against Dorchester was a show of what a massive Non-League club Weymouth is!
The Dorchester result was a good start for everyone and a sign that we are moving forward in the right direction. It will take a lot of hard work from everyone.
It’s a challenge I’m relishing & fully invested in!”
