Further to speculation surrounding the continued absence of Warren Bentley, the position is as follows.
Warren suffered more than a concussion, his accident on the training ground was more severe than first thought and as a result of it he has been signed off from both work and football for the foreseeable future.
Warren is under constant medical supervision and although he is at home and is slowly returning to work, he won’t be able to play football for any time in the near future. The club continues to support Warren and wishes him a speedy recovery.
The recovery will take some time, and at present there is no timescale as it is different for all similar cases. Unfortunately, it is one of those injuries which will take as long as it takes.
Warren continues to be monitored by the club and by his own doctors, any decision on Warren’s future will be decided once Warren has fully recovered.
