WEYMOUTH boss Mark Molesley says he has been “impressed” by Braintree, who the third-placed Terras travel to for a Vanarama National League South clash tomorrow (3pm).
Molesley said that, despite the Terras securing a 3-0 win at home in the reverse fixture back in October, Braintree have caught his eye this season.
He said: “I think we fancy our chances in every game, but Braintree are a good side on their day.
“They have hit a few teams hard this season and beat them quite comfortably in the end.
“As I’ve said before. there’s no easy games in this league and it’s going to be a hard game.
“I was impressed with Braintree when they came to our place and from our scouting reports I have seen even more that I have been impressed with.”
Molesley also said that the number of games his players are having to prepare for can make the league “abrasive” and added that back to back road trips, with Havant and Waterlooville coming up on Tuesday evening, could have an effect.
“It could be a very tough game, with the away travelling as well and playing midweek but that’s just the way it is.
“We now have two tough away trips in a row which is always going to be tough with the amount of games at the moment
“There’s no easy way of dealing with that apart from relying on the boys doing the right things when they are away from the club like eating the right things and getting enough sleep.”
