Weymouth FC are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Tom Solanke, following a successful trial period with the club.
Previously at West Bromwich Albion, Tom Solanke, who will wear the number 24 shirt, was in action in midweek for the U23s 4-1 win over Dorchester Town U23s and now joins up with the first team squad.
First Team Manager, Brian Stock: “We’re delighted to have signed Tom. He was a player who was made aware to us, when looking at recruiting players for our squad, and we identified that he would compliment the group of players that we already have. He’s a different type of player, one that can hold in midfield, he’s very strong and can get around the pitch with his physicality and energy and is fantastic on the ball.”
Tom Solanke is available to play against Wrexham this evening.
