NEW Terras’ striker Brandon Goodship underlined his hunger to deliver goals for the club this term.
The former AFC Bournemouth youngster opened his account for Weymouth in a friendly against his previous employers, Yeovil Town, at the Bob Lucas Stadium on Tuesday evening.
And the talented 22-year-old insisted it was good to get off the mark for his new club.
“No matter who you score against, it’s always nice to get a goal and Tuesday was the exact same,” he told Echosport.
“For myself personally I want to keep scoring, I want to score in every game. Team-wise, we want to get our fitness in first and foremost and I’m sure after that results will follow.
“I am just happy to be playing football week in week out and seeing where it takes me.”
Asked about what it has been like in the Terras’ set-up so far, Goodship added: “It’s been brilliant. The guys here have been so professional, it’s a great set-up and I think there is only one way we will be heading this season, and that’s up the table.
“I am sure after Tuesday’s performance a lot of people will be thinking the same.”
