Wes Fogden

Few players in non-league football can match the experience and pedigree of Wes Fogden. A technically gifted midfielder with an outstanding footballing brain, Wes arrives at the Bob Lucas Stadium having enjoyed a distinguished career spanning the English Football League and the highest levels of non-league football.

Having begun his career with Brighton & Hove Albion, Wes went on to represent Dorchester Town, Havant & Waterlooville, AFC Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Yeovil Town, Dorking Wanderers and Poole Town before returning to Dorchester. Along the way he helped Havant & Waterlooville to back-to-back promotions, earned promotion to the National League with Dorking Wanderers and became renowned as one of the South’s most accomplished midfielders.

Comfortable in a variety of midfield roles, Wes combines outstanding technical ability with composure in possession, vision and an eye for goal. His professionalism, leadership and wealth of experience make him an invaluable influence both on the pitch and in the dressing room, qualities that have earned him admiration throughout the game.

Now joining Jamie Wells’ squad, Wes brings proven quality and a winning mentality to the Terras. His experience at every level of the game, together with his desire to continue competing at the highest standard, makes him a significant addition as Weymouth looks to build an exciting new chapter at the Bob Lucas Stadium.
