Jamie Wells

Jamie Wells was appointed First Team Manager of Weymouth FC in December 2025, stepping up from his role as first-team coach to lead the Terras into a new era. A highly respected coach with an excellent reputation for player development, Jamie combines modern coaching methods with a clear understanding of the standards and expectations required at the Bob Lucas Stadium.

Having worked closely with the first-team squad prior to his appointment, Jamie brought continuity, stability and renewed belief to the dressing room. Working alongside Director of Football Jason Matthews and his coaching staff, he helped instil a hardworking, positive culture built on discipline, togetherness and a commitment to developing players capable of representing Weymouth Football Club with pride.

Known for his calm leadership, meticulous preparation and ability to build strong relationships with his players, Jamie places great emphasis on teamwork, professionalism and continuous improvement. His coaching philosophy encourages attacking football, high standards on and off the pitch and creating an environment in which players can fulfil their potential.

As manager, Jamie is focused on building a competitive, ambitious squad capable of challenging at the top end of the Southern League Premier Division South. Supported by a talented backroom team and the unwavering backing of the Terras supporters, he is determined to lead the club into an exciting new chapter while embracing the proud traditions and values of Weymouth Football Club.
