Brooklyn Genesini
A modern, attack-minded full-back, Brooklyn Genesini has quickly become an important part of Weymouth’s squad thanks to his pace, athleticism and ability to influence the game at both ends of the pitch.
Born in Yeovil, Brooklyn came through the academy at AFC Bournemouth, progressing to the first team and making his senior debut in the EFL Cup. Loan spells with Poole Town and Danish side Næstved, followed by time at Swindon Town and Yeovil Town, provided valuable senior experience before he first arrived at the Bob Lucas Stadium in 2024.
During his first spell with the Terras, Brooklyn impressed with his energetic displays from right-back, making 47 competitive appearances and scoring seven goals in all competitions. After a brief spell with Dorchester Town, he returned to Weymouth in 2025, underlining both his commitment to the club and the high regard in which he is held.
Equally effective in defence and attack, Brooklyn is renowned for his pace, quality on the ball and willingness to get forward, while his versatility allows him to operate anywhere down the right-hand side. Still only in the early stages of his career, he combines professional experience with significant potential.
Now continuing his journey under manager Jamie Wells, Brooklyn remains an exciting member of the Terras squad. His ambition, work ethic and attacking style make him a key part of Weymouth’s plans as the club looks to build for the future.
