Tom Bearwish

A product of the club’s youth system, Tom Bearwish is one of Weymouth Football Club’s own. Born in Portland, Tom has developed into a key figure for the Terras, combining technical ability, work rate and leadership to become one of the first names on the teamsheet.

After beginning his senior career with Eastleigh, Tom returned home to join Weymouth in 2021 and quickly established himself as an influential member of the squad. Comfortable operating in midfield or further forward, he is renowned for his energy, creativity and eye for goal, while his commitment and determination have made him a firm favourite with the Terras faithful.

Tom’s leadership qualities saw him appointed club captain, a role he held throughout the 2022–23, 2023–24 and 2024–25 seasons. Leading by example on and off the pitch, he has been at the heart of the squad during some of the club’s most challenging and memorable moments, earning the respect of teammates, supporters and opponents alike.

Now continuing his Weymouth journey under manager Jamie Wells, Tom remains an integral part of the squad. His passion for the club, versatility and unwavering commitment to the claret and blue shirt ensure he continues to play a vital role as the Terras look to build for the future.
