Weymouth will come up against some familiar faces when Steve Claridge’s men round off their pre-season campaign.
The Terras have pencilled in a friendly away at FA Vase winners Winchester City on Monday, August 9 – five days before the start of the Conference South season.
The 7.45pm clash will see Weymouth come up against former Terras such as Michael Dean, Toby Redwood and Steve Tate for the Wessex League champions, who were denied promotion this season because their Abbots Barton ground was not deemed to be up to scratch,
Weymouth, who return to training on July 1, have also confirmed away warm-up games at Taunton Town and Bashley as part of their summer preparations.
Claridge’s side, who are expected to be among the front-runners in the Conference South next season, travel to Taunton Town on Tuesday, July 27, 7.45pm.
They make the short trip to the New Forest to take on Bashley on Tuesday, August 3, 7.45pm.
The extra fixtures make it seven definite friendlies for Weymouth – with three more expected to be confirmed soon.
