Weymouth captain Jake McCarthy took time out to visit the inter-schools Nash Cup competition held at Redlands last Friday. Jake combines a busy schools and youth coaching schedule with his Weymouth playing duties and saw quite a few familiar faces amongst the teams.
Jake commented “It was just great to see so many age ranges and an equal mix of girls and boys teams involved. It is all about participation and enjoyment and this tournament reflects that perfectly with everyone playing with smiles on their faces. Long may it continue!”
