Director of Football, Paul Maitland would like to express his gratitude to outgoing defender Thiago who has now left the club to return to his family back home in Brazil.
“Thiago came to England looking to pursue a career here after a successful spell in Italy and also, to build a future for him and his young family. After a successful spell with us, he has now returned to Brazil to be with his family whilst he decides upon his future.”
“We where incredibly lucky to have Thiago and the sacrifices that he made to stay with us until the end of the season. Unfortunately we cannot give him the security of full time football that would enable him to bring his family to England with him.”
“Thiago made a lasting impression on us all and he became an instrumental figure in our run to the play offs.”
