WEYMOUTH boss Mark Molesley praised Dorchester Town for their improvement, as he prepares his side to travel to them on Boxing Day in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier South (1pm).
The last league match between the two sides saw Weymouth dominate 5-0 in August, but in the Dorset Senior Cup quarter-final Dorchester were very unfortunate to not emerge victorious, with the Terras earning a win via a penalty shoot-out.
Molesley said: “They are vastly improved, they have a lot of energy and a good team at the moment and they have shown that with their recent results.”
Molesley hopes his side can react from a 2-2 draw at home to Harrow on Saturday, with Weymouth having led 2-0 with 15 minutes to go.
Molesley said: “The games don’t come much bigger than that for the fans so hopefully we can react quickly and get three points and get a good feeling about the place again.
“Like I said, I have the utmost respect for all of the teams we play but we need to get back to focusing on ourselves, making sure what we do what we do well and if we do that then I am sure we have got a good chance.”
Stephane Zubar will not miss the match, despite picking up a straight red card on Saturday during the draw with Harrow, with the suspension set to kick-in after.
