We catch up with the manager ahead of our clash with Basingstoke Town.
John Pritchard: After a couple of brilliant away results, how are you feeling going into the Basingstoke game at the BLS?
Mark Molesley: We are looking forward to the game as we always do. It will be another tough challenge as Basingstoke have some dangerous players but we come into the game on the back of two positive performances and we want to continue to build on that.
JP: We have an 8 game unbeaten run in the league so I’m sure everyone would love to keep extending it! How is the squad shaping up?
MM: We’ve still got a few to come back but at this stage of the season, you are lucky if you have everyone fit. Hopefully we aren’t too far away from having everyone back. Josh McQuoid has started his comeback trail and Sam Sherring is back in training. This shows the importance of the squad that we have, it has always been competitive despite having keys players out.
JP: Definitely great players to come back in and they are only going boost the squad! Going on to the importance of the squad, is it fair to say that everyone is going to have to play their part at this crucial stage of the season?
MM: Absolutely, this is a squad effort and everyone has a vital part to play. We have shown that so far this season with all players playing their part.
JP: We are very fortunate to have such a tight knit bunch of lads which of course helps! You say Basingstoke have some dangerous players but overall, what sort of test are you expecting from the visitors?
MM: Since I have been manager, Basingstoke have always been one of our hardest opponents. Our games with them have always provided entertainment. We will need to be at our best to carry on our good form against them.
