Georges Harrison: You have been voted as player of the month for November. A message for the fans that voted and your thoughts on the award?
Calum Ward: As everyone knows it’s a very nice award to be given and I’d like to thank all the fans that have voted for me! It is nice to see that they back me and think I am playing well.
GH: We sit fourth in the table in the Vanarama National League South. What do you put our season down to so far?
CW: I just think our togetherness and just backing each other on and off the ball. Also just backing our philosophy and the way we play helps us massively, as some teams do not necessarily expect it.
GH: Just sum up for us how much you are enjoying your time with Weymouth.
CW: I’m really enjoying my time at Weymouth! I hope to continue the success in the league and also in the FA Trophy on Saturday.
GH: Finally. Robbie Yates spoke very highly of you in a recent interview. Can you just talk about your relationship with him and also all the coaching staff at Weymouth?
CW: I’ve known Robbie for a long time. I pretty much started goalkeeping with him as one of my coaches when I was really young. So having him at Weymouth is really good as he knows me well as a person and a goalkeeper. The other staff are all ledge as well, they really encouraging and good people. Having Mark as Manager is good because I know him really well from Bournemouth too.
