Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Our Plan

As a responsible Football Club and in line with our company values, the health and wellbeing of all those who attend the Bob Lucas Stadium is our priority. We are in the business of running a football club where our officials, players and supporters attend our stadium and need to feel safe and that’s what we will continue to do.

We will respond to this fast-evolving situation in a calm and proportionate manner based on expert advice and following Government guidelines. Please rest assured we will not hesitate to act if we believe it is the right thing to do. If one of our football matches has to be suspended or moved either for health reasons or because we feel we won’t be able to deliver a safe environment for those present, then we will of course act and suspend. At the moment we are following the guidelines of the National League governing body.

We are taking extra measures to ensure the health and safety of all attendees: By obeying the details below:

Following the UK Government, Public Health England and WHO, to stay up to date with the latest developments.

Collaborating with our governing body and other organisers to share information and actions
Increasing cleaning activity at our stadium and making sure all our officials, players and supporters including our visiting teams are following the Government guidelines.

Our safety team at our home fixtures will be very vigilante looking for anyone displaying the symptoms of Covid-19.

All attendees are encouraged to maintain good respiratory and hand hygiene by employing the ‘Catch It. Bin It. Kill It.’ ethos and ensuring regular and thorough hand washing. If you do experience any of the symptoms: a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath, please remain at home visit https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19 or call NHS 111 for advice.

We also ask if you have visited any of the countries or regions identified on the Government’s information site (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/advice-for-travellers/) in the last two weeks, you do not attend our fixtures.
