Weymouth Football Club can confirm that it has had one positive case of coronavirus, despite the person involved being asymptomatic.
The Club’s Doctor and Covid Officer have both been in contact with the National League and it’s Chief Medical Officer to inform them of the situation and the subsequent steps taken by the club.
In line with the Covid protocols that the club has in place and following NHS Track & Trace guidelines the club now has four players and a member of backroom staff self-isolating.
The club has been given the go-ahead to continue its league program and we look forward to hosting Sutton Utd this weekend.
