Thanks to an amazing gesture from our former player, Ben Gerring, we’ve got 8 food hampers to donate to local families who need some help this Christmas.
Ben, who made played 90 appearances for The Terras between 2010-12, has launched a campaign to bring together supporters of non-league clubs from all over the country to help hungry children.
The Feeding Britain campaign is inspired by Manchester United and England player Marcus Rashford and already has the backing of teams in the National League and league sponsor Vanarama is helping with the distribution of food.
Weymouth FC are a key part of the local community and we’re always looking to support those in need.
