Weymouth Football Club are saddened to hear of the passing of former Terra Frank Worthington.
Frank played a cameo role for Weymouth in 1989, towards the end of an impressive career in the game, scoring once in 4 games for the Terras.
Described as one of football’s great entertainers, before joining the Terras the Halifax born Midfielder played for Football League sides Huddersfield, Leicester City, Bolton Wanderers, Birmingham City, Leeds United, Sunderland, Southampton, Brighton & Hove Albion, as well as making 8 appearances for the England National Team.
