Andreas Robinson has put pen to paper on a contract extension which sees him commit his future at the Bob Lucas Stadium.

Brian Stock told uptheterras.co.uk, “He’s had a really good last couple of months. He brings physicality to the team and he moves the ball with a purpose. In this league we need players like Robbo to churn our performance after performance, like he has done recently.

“He’s an honest, hardworking player who always gives 110%, whether that’s in training, or on match day and I’m really pleased to have signed him for the next year.”

The 28 year old midfielder has made 51 appearances since joining in summer 2019 from Havant and Waterlooville. Robinson scored Weymouth’s final goal of the regular 2019/20 season, an 89th-minute strike in the 2-0 win over Slough.
