Weymouth FC cordially invites you to join us in our Youth Tournament 2022 to be held at The Bob Lucas Stadium on 28/29th May 2022.
Following two successful years (pre- Covid) we are delighted to be able to offer your teams the chance to take part in our growing youth tournament, returning again this year.
Our Tournament in May 2020 was a fantastic event and very successful with some wonderful feedback.
We wish to take this opportunity to once again thank the people who entered in 2020 and hope they enjoyed it so much they will be excited to join us again this year.

Entry is £40 per team.
DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES – 1ST APRIL 2022
Spaces are being offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a space has been reserved for you, we will email you and teams will have 7 days to make payment once accepted.
Saturday 28th May 2022
AM – Under 7.8,9 Mixed/boys (non competitive) 9am -2pm(register by 8.30am for a 9am KO
PM – Girls Only Teams Under 9 (non competitive), 11, 13, and 15(competitive) 2pm-6pm (register by 1.30pm for a 2pm KO)
Sunday 29th May 2022
AM – Under 10, 11, and 12 boys/mixed (competitive)9.30am -1pm (register by 9am for a 9.30am KO)
PM – Under 13, 14 and 15 mixed/boys (competitive) 2pm – 6pm (register by 1.30pm for a 2pm KO)
Followed by a Managers v Parents match to finish.
All games are 6 a-side. A maximum of 10 players registered to each team. All players are to be registered in their respective age groups as per the 2021/22 season. The games will be 8 minutes long.
A copy of the tournament rules will be attached to the confirmation email. Refunds for withdrawals after April 30th 2022 will be at the club’s discretion but not guaranteed.
Please encourage all Managers to read the Tournament Rules and pay particular attention to the introduction of Rule 7 b) and the need to comply with Rule 10 b) detailing the ‘home’ team must provide a match ball to not halt play. Also, please note the introduction of two new, but important rules 14 and 15, which by entering you agree to adhere to. By applying to enter we accept that as confirmation you agree to adhere to all the tournament rules.
We recommend every team clearly marks their footballs with their team name to avoid confusion as we cannot be held liable for lost footballs.
An application for sanctioning this tournament has been made to Dorset FA.
Confirmation of entry will be given via email from our Secretary including a Registration Form to be completed and brought on the day of the tournament.
This will be sent to the applying team’s manager/secretary’s email address after receiving a properly completed Entry Form and cleared payment.
You are welcome to apply for more than one team in the same age group; however, acceptance will depend on available places and cannot be guaranteed.
A BBQ and a number of other refreshments and activities will be available on both days along with programmes for the day’s events. Please notify spectators/players etc there will be a small charge for car parking.
