It is with great sadness that Weymouth Football Club have learnt of the passing of former club chairman Terry Bennett. Terry became the club chairman in the early 2000’s when the club was truly on its knees financially.
No one wanted the poisoned chalice, but up stepped the bold larger than life Terry Bennett. His heart was truly in the club, even to point that he used his own money to help keep the club afloat.
Weymouth Football Club will always have a place in its heart for this lovely man and the Weymouth Football Club family sends it’s condolences and respect to the family and friends of Terry.
