Manager David Oldfield would like to update fans on the current status of this summer’s player recruitment process.
“Since our Squad Update following the end of last season, we have been working tirelessly behind the scenes in player recruitment, however, at this stage, we have no further update regarding new players into the playing squad. We hope to provide fans with positive news in the coming weeks.
However, we continue to be in ongoing communication with the existing players outlined in our previous statement with some negotiations more advanced than others.
We hope that these discussions will bring a positive outcome for Weymouth FC as we look forward to 2022/23 season. In the meantime, we hope that all fans are having an enjoyable summer and we hope to see many of you during our pre-season fixtures next month.”
