#FeedTheBear – Tom Bearwish signs on for 2022-23!
Weymouth Football Club are delighted to announce that Tom Bearwish has agreed a new one year contract, extending his stay at the Bob Lucas Stadium, subject to FA approval.
Tom played in a number of positions last season, highlighting his fantastic versatility on the pitch, knocking up 37 appearances and scoring 4 goals. A highlight of last season being his stoppage time equaliser at Huish Park in the FA Cup, which silenced the Yeovil crowd and forced a replay at the Bob Lucas Stadium.
Tom Bearwish: ”I’m so glad to have the chance to play for my local club again and celebrate with the Weymouth fans. I’ve got a few personal goals that I’m determined to meet this season and I’ll do everything I can to help reach the goals of the club.
Having a full pre-season with the Gaffer and Tom excites me because I know we’ll be the fittest we’ve ever been and ready for the coming season. Hopefully you guys have a lot to cheer about! See you soon TERRAS!!”
