The Dorset Fan Festival is just around the corner and we can release some details as to what’s going on during the day.
To kick things off in the morning, we will be hosting a Youth Tournament between 10:00 and 12:00. This will take place on the pitch at the Bob Lucas Stadium. Those willing to get involved will be contacted by their coach in due course.
The main event of the afternoon, our friendly against Dorchester Town, will kick off at 15:00. Entry to the festival outside the stadium is FREE, however there is an entry fee for those who enter the stadium for the friendly game. Those who attend the Youth Tournament in the morning will not be charged for entry to that particular event, however will need to leave the stadium following the tournament and re-enter if they are watching the friendly.
The ticket prices for the friendly are as follows:
Adult: £10
Concession: £5
Students/U16: FREE
Also on offer during the day:
- We’ll have an outdoor bar, serving local beers and regular favourites.
- Refreshment stalls serving hot dogs, burgers, doughnuts and slushies.
- Local community stalls including Royal Air Force Cadets, Veteran Hub and a Weymouth FC Pop Up Shop
- Live music: Milk & Two between 12-2pm and following Weymouth v Dorchester is The Haze between 5-7pm
We will also be unveiling our 2022-23 home kit for next season, a limited number of replica shirts will be available to purchase at the Pop-Up shop, so get there fast to secure a shirt.

Parking outside the stadium will be extremely limited on the day, please bear this in mind if travelling by car.
We would like to ask fans if they have any gazebos to cover the bar that we can purchase or borrow for the afternoon. We ideally need 3 lots of 3m x 3m gazebos to cover the bar. Contact office@weymouthfootballclub.co.uk if you can help!
