Weymouth Football Club are delighted to announce three loan signings to the club!
First of all, we are pleased to welcome Irish defender Jamie Egan who joins on a month’s loan from League One side Bristol Rovers. The 19 year-old has spent time on loan at National League North side Gloucester City this season in August 2022. Egan also spent time on loan at National League North side Hereford last season from January 2022.
Secondly, we’re pleased to welcome striker Nahum Melvin-Lambert who signs on a month’s loan from Championship side Reading. The 20 year-old has spent his youth career at Reading, rising through to the U21 setup. Melvin-Lambert has spent time on loan at Irish side St Pat’s between February 2021-December 2021. This season, Nahum spent a month on loan at fellow National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town in September.
Finally, we are pleased to welcome striker David Nyarko to the club, who joins also on a month’s loan from Reading. The 20 year-old has risen through the academy at Reading similarly to Nahum. Nyarko has spent time on loan at Thatcham Town, where he scored five goals in his opening two matches for the club.
Manager Bobby Wilkinson: “I’m delighted that we’ve been able to sign Jamie, Nahum and David. First of all, I’m extremely happy to get Jamie over the line from Bristol Rovers. He’s had some good experience as he’s played non-league football at this level with Gloucester and Hereford. With both Nahum and David, I’ve been able to use my connections with Reading which have helped me out in bringing both lads in. They are two powerful, quick strikers who will give us some great options in attack. I’m delighted to be able to bring them both in.”
Everybody at Weymouth Football Club would like to welcome Jamie, Nahum and David to the club and wish them every success with us!
