Weymouth F.C. and the Champion Academy will be joining forces to create a brighter and more inclusive future for children in the local and surrounding area.
Champion, who offer an educational pathway for students as well as football, will be working closely with club to establish greater opportunities for young footballers locally and from further afield. With a thriving youth set up and greater opportunities for Women, we are hoping to improve and develop our pathways for all.
Dan Neville from Champion said: “This is a great opportunity for us to further develop our links in the local area and offer football activities to young players in Weymouth and the surrounding areas.
With the football clubs standing in the local community, and our links and resources, we will be well placed to offer an excellent summer of football for aspiring young male and female players”
The partnership will also be bringing coaching sessions to the local area during the summer holidays and longer-term summer camps.
Our Manager Bobby Wilkinson and 1st Team Captain Tom Bearwish will be coaching alongside the coaches from Champion. Please watch out for details of the summer dates to be released shortly.
