I don’t quite know where to begin, but wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone connected with the club for what has turned out to be a remarkable season. I’ll be honest, when I stepped back through the door, I wasn’t sure we could keep the doors open. At that point a lot of brilliant people came forward with offers of help, to those that did we owe you a debt of gratitude.

I asked for ideas and people to see through those ideas, you did, the scratch cards, Oily Rag, lottery, donations, evening with, hall of fame the list goes on all, significant, not only financial, but a show of us pulling together.

Thank you to all our sponsors, new and old. Thank you to the volunteers, staff, players each and everyone of them. To the loan players and their parent clubs, it was brave of them to come here and support us and we appreciate the support.

To the Board, Supporters Association, Trustees Travel Club, Womens and Youth Section, you have all played your part in helping to rebuild our club, which we will need to continue to do that and keep our feet firmly on the ground.

To you, the fans, it’s been tough but you kept turning up home and away that’s what makes this club so special, you never stop supporting your team whatever.

My biggest and final thank you goes to Bobby and his family, they have reminded us the importance of family and sticking together. Not many managers would have taken this job let alone kept us up, I truly believe this is a defining moment in our history and a point to build away from.

Have a brilliant summer and I very much look forward to seeing you all next season in the National League South!
