Weymouth F.C. would like to announce that Max Hemmings will be continuing his journey with us next season subject to approval. Max’s arrival at the back end of last season was a major factor in our upturn in fortunes and played a pivotal role in the club’s survival last season.
Upon extending his stay at the club midfielder Hemmings expressed his delight at staying at the club for another season.
“I’m delighted to sign for Weymouth next season. Thank you to Bobby and the board for getting the deal done. After speaking with Bobby about his plans and vision for the club, it’s what I want to be a part of, and believe I can play a key role next year in achieving those plans.”
“The Weymouth fans have been class since I joined at the back end of last season and I’m looking forward to playing in front of them again next season.”
Manager Bobby Wilkinson was happy to get the deal done with Hemming’s becoming the club’s second signing ahead of the new season after the extension of Tom Bearwish’s contract.
“I’m delighted to have Max as our second signing of the season, so pleased to get him on board, I loved working with him last season and look forward to working with him again next season”
