Weymouth Football Club is delighted to announce eight players will be playing in claret and blue next season. Manager Bobby Wilkinson has brought in new signings Joel Rollinson, Brandon Goodship, Calvin Brooks and has turned Gerard Benfield loan into a permanent spell with the club. Wilkinson has also successfully extended the contracts of Keelan O’Connell, Harvey Slade, Frankie Monk, and Teddy Howe for the 2023/2024 season.
Bobby did have time to catch up with the media team during his busy day, to tell us a little about his eight signings.

Speaking about Keelan extending his stay “The wing wizard will be extending his stay with the club for another year having played a big role in the club’s survival last season.”
Bobby was delighted at the enthusiasm shown by Brandon to join The Terras, “He’s a brilliant signing for the football club and enthused by the passion shown by Brandon in wanting to join the club.”
Slade another player to extend his contract was met with excitement as Bobby explained: “Having joined the club in the 2nd half of the season Harvey has extended his stay with the club for another year and will be looking to build on some strong performances at the back end of last season.”

“Teddy remains a Terra, which is a hugely important signing for the club after a string of excellent performances last season.” on Howe signing an extension at the club.
Youngster Frankie Monk also committed himself to Weymouth for next season with Bobby having this to say about the youngster “Delighted to sign young Frankie, who I believe has a bright future and will have a big part to play this season.”
Bobby also managed to turn Gerrard Benfield’s loan into a permanent signing, Gerard played an important role in keeping the club up we are delighted to keep him at the club, with Bobby saying “Following a successful loan period at the end of the season in which be with us for 23/24 season. I’m delighted to be working with Gez again for the coming season.”
