The Terras began the match poorly, conceding a sloppy far post goal. Tony Lee being the one accredited with it.

It took the Terras nearly 20 minutes to get their first shot on goal, Tom Stagg being the one to let fly from range. However his shot left a lot to be desired as it was dragged wide of the near post.

Jack Dickson looked sharp for the Dolphins, as he tried a long range effort on the twenty minute mark. This was well dealt with by Gerard Benfield as he palmed it away to safety.

Arguably the Terras best chance of the match came just after that as Tom Bearwish latched onto a Teddy Howe cross. However Tom couldn’t quite get over the ball and his header was therefore always going to fly over the bar.

Wabo then made his claim for best chance of the match. Norman got hold of a bouncing ball into the box. However he saw his powerful effort well saved by Cairney in the Poole Town Net.

The period of the 25th minute through until the 40th minute proved the most fruitful for the Terras. As Tom Bearwish was the next to fire just wide. This time with a volleyed effort courtesy of another precise Teddy Howe cross.

Gerard Benfield then somehow denied Tony Lee from doubling his tally. Benfield got a strong hand to Lee’s acrobatic effort.

At half time it was the home side who had the advantage.

The second half began with freshly substituted Joel Rollinson whipping in a dangerous ball towards a lurking Norman Wabo at the far post. However, his cross just evade Norman!

Tony Lee then found himself at the back post, he got onto the end of an over hit cross, but luckily for the Terras he couldn’t direct his effort goalwards.

In the 60th minute Joel Rollinson stood over a 25-yard out free kick. He stepped up and fired goalwards, however his effort flew agonisingly close to the top left corner!

Frankie Monk then replaced Norman Wabo in the 67th minute.

On the 69th minute Benfield made yet another superb save, this time denying the onrushing Jack Dickson. Who had wiggled his way through the Terras defence.

In the dying stages of the match, Dan Roberts header looked destined for the bottom corner, however to the disappointment of the Terras fans in attendance, it bounced wide of Cairney’s right hand post.

The full time whistle sounded seconds later, thus bringing the match to a close. The Terras falling to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Tony Lee’s early first half strike.
