The Dolphins are very familiar local foes spanning our entire history as we have played them well over 200 times over the decades in all competitions. In fact, there is only one club we have faced more across the generations (a green & white liveried outfit somewhere near Sherborne).
We have generally had the better of our encounters. However, we found ourselves stuck in the Tatnum mud on our last two visits – a 0-4 loss in the Dorset Senior Cup final this spring (when we fielded mostly our U23s) preceded by a single goal defeat there last summer.
Our last major tussle was back in the southern league in 2019 when a 1-1 draw in East Dorset ultimately proved crucial in our promotion season, Calvin Brooks with one of the fastest goals in our history as he slotted the ball home in just 12.4 seconds.
