On Friday night our Weymouth FC Under 14s were lucky enough to have a visit from our talented Weymouth FC Physio Tori Coltart who braved the 1°C cold front to see us at training.
Tori was on hand to talk to the boys about injuries they are carrying, had in the past and advising them on how to avoid them in the future.
Giving parents and players a bit of education about how many things can affect the boys performance on match day from warming up properly, diet and match day half time help to stretches and long term benefits of looking after themselves properly on and off the field.
We certainly learned a lot about keeping our players happy and healthy. Some of our boys are booking in to see her to treat some ongoing problems and we are delighted to know they are in great hands!
