As we bid farewell to the previous season and welcome the approaching summer break, it’s the perfect moment to share some updates on our future direction. The pre-season schedule will soon begin, swiftly followed by the dawn of a new campaign.
Behind the scenes, Mark is diligently forming his team. The summer recruitment is in full swing and numerous discussions are underway as we shape the team and club’s future.
Meanwhile, essential maintenance is progressing off the field, and we’re gearing up for the pitch’s summer overhaul.
Our respected home, The Bob Lucas Stadium, despite its majesty, requires ongoing care, and we’re bracing for another intense summer of work to ensure its readiness for August.
Having navigated the turbulent period from two summers ago, our focus now shifts to embracing the forthcoming endeavours. Our goal is to cultivate, not just a viable enterprise, but also a vibrant future that rallies our Community, Supporters, Volunteers, and Sponsors together.
Our gratitude extends to our Sponsors who have remained steadfast during uncertain times. Their unwavering support, both financially and morally, has been invaluable, and for that, we are immensely thankful.
As a club, we have taken time to reflect and will now prioritise nurturing these partnerships. We aim to forge long-lasting and meaningful relationships with businesses and individuals alike.
To enable our positive forward movements to continue, we must ensure that we set a foundation and pathway that allow us the best possible environment to achieve great things both on and off the pitch.
This reflection has led to some welcome organisational changes within the club:
Rian Harvey, who became part of the media team last season, will now take on the role of Media and Marketing Manager.
Jason Matthews will continue with us, serving in an ambassadorial capacity, influencing and supporting both the sporting and community aspects of our work.
Bob Russell, who graciously accepted the Commercial Director position two years ago, will now become our Honorary Vice President for his commitment and tireless work carried out during his tenure as Commercial Director.
With Bob’s transition, we have welcomed a new, professional and exciting Commercial Director, whose details we’ll share as soon as possible.
Our mission is clear: to elevate the experience for everyone involved—Sponsors, Supporters, Volunteers, and Staff.
We are dedicated to ensuring that each individual feels valued and understands the vital role they play in our collective journey, while also pursuing excellence at every level of our club, both on the field and behind the scenes.
Enjoy the summer, and we eagerly anticipate reuniting during the pre-season campaign.
