THE Terras will take a rotated squad to Verwood Town tonight (7.45pm) as they look to lift the Dorset Senior Cup for the third successive time.
Weymouth won both titles under player-manager Jason Matthews and the boss wants to continue their success.
Speaking to Echosport ahead of the game, he said: “We have won it the last two years and it is one we will be taking semi-seriously.
“It gives me a chance to play some squad players and give some of the lads a chance to get 90 minutes under their belt.
Asked who was likely to come in, Matthews added: “I’m not sure if we will risk Sheps (Chris Shephard). We will play some of the lads that have featured regularly like Billy Lowes and Ashley Wells.”
Tiago Sa and Aston Butcher are also likely to feature having spent much of the season with the reserve side.
After his two goals on the weekend, Conor Jevon is likely to start alongside Sam Jordan.
Speaking about Jevon, Matthews remarked: “For someone like Conor, he has scored some goals in the games he has started and you can only score with what is put in front of you.
“I’d like to see him continue his good form. He’s a good lad and it’s nice for him and ourselves that he is starting to find the net and his performances have been superb.”
