TWO new members have been co-opted on to the board of Weymouth Football Club.

The appointments of Andrew Brown and Charles Lesser brings the number of Terras directors up to a total of ten.

Weymouth-born Brown has run a number of successful exhibition companies in Bournemouth while Lesser is a London-based commodities broker.

Chairman Ian Ridley said: “I am delighted that Andrew and Charles have agreed to join us and I welcome them to the Wessex Stadium. Both are highly skilled businessmen who have much to offer the club.

“Andrew is already a big fan of the Terras because he comes from the town and is now living and working up in Bournemouth. He’s been a season ticket holder for many years and it’s good to have him on board.

“Charles is a very successful broker in the City of London with a passion for Football and we’re very lucky to have someone like him at our disposal.

“The board is now ten strong and the range of skills that exist among us is terrific.

We’ve got people with much to offer both locally and nationally and that’s a big asset for the club.”

Meanwhile the new Terras away strip goes on sale next month ahead of next season’s Dr Martens Premier Division campaign.

The white shirt with terra cotta and blue stripes will cost £35 or £30 for Terras 52-Week Club members.
